Christian Matzke lives and works in Portland, Maine. He was finishing a degree in Political Science when he completed his first film, Nyarlathotep (2001). As a long time fan of both films and H.P. Lovecraft it seemed natural to attempt to combine the two.
His second film An Imperfect Solution: A Tale of the Re-Animator, also a Lovecraft adaptation, came out in the Fall of 2003.
Christian Matzke is the man behind Propping Up the Mythos, a robust Web site dedicated towards hand crafting your own ooky props for use in your Cthulhu games, or other Lovecraftian mischief. Not only that, but he's also contributed some info to Cthulhu: Live.
